Sustainable Livelihood and Nature Conservation Alliance (SLinCA) was founded in February 2021.
The organization is registered as a Non-profit organization with the Registrar General’ Department, the Ghana Revenue Authority and the Non-profit Organizations Secretariat
At SLinCA, we believe that nature protection and human well-being are deeply connected in Africa. There are currently ample opportunities to provide sustainable livelihoods through nature protection, management, and restoration. We work with diverse partners and stakeholders to ensure that these opportunities are realized and lead to transformative changes in the nature-livelihood value chains
SLinCA’s mission is to promote positive synergies between livelihood activities and nature conservation. We achieve this by facilitating knowledge creation, capacity building and networking among relevant stakeholders in the productive sector (agriculture, mining, manufacturing, etc.) and nature conservation value chains.
